As the afternoon softens, your journey begins as we leave the coastline behind and head into the hills towards the peaceful village of Bezirgan. This quiet settlement reflects the region’s rural heritage, with stone houses, traditional storehouses, and narrow village lanes where life moves at a gentler pace.
A gentle walk through the village allows time to explore its character and surroundings. When open, the local mosque is visited, followed by a tea break in a garden setting, offering a simple and authentic moment.
The journey then continues to Islamlar, a mountain village known for its freshwater springs and trout farms. Here, a relaxed dinner is enjoyed in a scenic setting, surrounded by nature and cooler evening air, providing a refreshing contrast to the coastal heat.
Modest dress is recommended when visiting the mosque, and ladies are kindly asked to cover their heads and shoulders. Even during the summer months, the villages can be noticeably cooler in the evening.
